Formula One World Championship 2017 season

The Formula One World Championship for the 2017 season is the 61st season of the FIA World Series 1, the highest category of open-wheel racing. Drivers and teams are set to compete in 20 races at the World Drivers Championship World for the 2017 makers, from the Australian race on March 26 to the Abu Dhabi race on November 26.
The 2016 champion has announced his retirement in December 2016, so the 2017 season is the first season since 1994 that the defending champions do not compete to maintain their championship.

Difference changes [edit]
Manor's parent company was listed under guard in January 2017. The administration failed to find a buyer, causing the company to collapse later that month, and as a result the team was completely closed in March.
The Sauber team uses old energy units of one year for the 2017 season.
Toro Rosso has returned to Renault's 2017 power units after using 2015 power units from Ferrari for the 2016 season. The team had been used by Renault's power units in the 2014 and 2015 seasons before the relationship between Renault and the Red Bull team collapsed, Prompting the Toro Rosso team to look for an alternative supplier.

For technical systems [edit]
The new technical regulations have led to a major change in the design of new cars in the 2017 season.
The technical regulations governing the design of the 2017 chassis have been revised to improve lap times by 4-5 seconds compared to 2016 cars. These changes include:
Increase in overall width to 2000 mm (78.7 inches).
Allow chassis width up to 1600 mm (63.0 inches).
Increase the width of the front wing to 1800 mm (70.9 inches).
Lower the rear wing by 150 mm (5.9 inches) and slide it back by 200 mm (7.9 inches).
The rear poster is larger and longer, and its extension is now extended before the rear axle.
Bring the front edge of the airbag breaker box forward to give the teams more freedom to control the airflow.
Increase in front and rear tire width (about 25% larger than previous tires) to allow cars to generate greater mechanical cohesion.
Raise the minimum weight of the car including the driver by 26 kg to 728 kg, allowing the difference to use 105 kg of fuel to account for the increase in the minimum weight.
The teams adopted a new addition to the 2017 chassis, a T-wing, a thin T-shaped wing above the chassis and in front of the rear wing to generate additional torque. Raising concerns about the use of moving pneumatic equipment - which is prohibited by law - after several designs of these wings were observed shaking during the new season's preparation tests. The judges decided to review each case rather than issuing a specific technical specification.
The regulation of power unit development points has been suspended - the power unit is divided into parts, and each part has a certain value of points. With each development of these parts, the points deducted from the total factory share of the points.
Put limits on the dimensions, weight, and materials used to build each part of the power unit.
The difference is limited to four units of energy per season regardless of the number of races in the season.
Reducing the cost of the power unit to 1 million euros in 2017 is equipped to cut further in 2018.
The cameras will not be installed on the nose of the front of the car.
Pirelli continued to be the sole supplier of Formula One tires in 2017, and from the previous seasons the company offered a range of seven different tire sets, five sets for dry conditions and two for wet conditions. While wet groups are available at each Grand Prix, only three sets of dry tires will be selected for each race. The teams are allowed to choose ten out of 13 of the race frames of the three sets provided by Pirelli. However, given the limited time to test new sets during the winter transfer period, Pirelli will provide a steady number of teams during the first five races of the season.
