Fuel-saving Stop/Start technology is standard with the automatic transmission. Stop/Start technology shuts the engine off when the vehicle stops, then starts the engine again when the brakes are released.

It monitors throttle, speed and braking on steep slopes, allowing the driver to concentrate on steering. Hill Start Assist keeps your brakes applied after you’ve released the brake pedal, to give you time to accelerate without rollback.

TRANSPORTING

When it’s time to haul, the All-New Jeep® Compass steps up. The 2.4L Tigershark®MultiAir® 2 engine provides a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds14. This tow rating is useful for hauling everything from folding camp trailers to trailers for small boats, motorcycles and snowmobiles.
